CAG objects to tax exemption given to Sachin and Sunny Gavaskar. Apparently Sachin had claimed an exemption of 3.6 crores from income in advertisements and Gavasakar’s exemption was to the tune of 80 Lakhs.

As if, the current imbalance between bat and ball is not enough, Kookaburra plan on a new bat with a larger sweet spot. My heart goes out to all the fast bowlers more so our subcontinental boys who have to toil on unfriendly pitches and oppressive heat.

The list of stars rumored to be part of the new cricket league continues to grow. Inzy seems to be the latest addition to the list.
Kapil dev along with Tony Greig ,Kiran More and Dean Jones are rumored to be on the board.
Zee in the meanwhile have denied these rumors.

There seems to be no end to the confusion over Woolmer’s death. One part of the media says heart attack the others including his friends and family say foul play! What really happened? A friend of mine in the Jamaican media says we will never know the truth. Spare a thought for the man’s family.
